We have opportunities available for high school student interns this summer! These positions will be for 20 hours a week from July 8th to August 9th. Projects will include:

• Dime Neutron Activation Video – Students will work to develop a short educational video on neutron activation using a PuBe neutrons source to activate silver dimes as was frequently done for demonstrations in the 1950s and 60s.
• Artificial Intelligence for Research Reactor Licensing – Student will work to train an Artificial Intelligence model to answer common questions on Nuclear Regulatory Commission Operator Licensing Exams to be used as a training aid for Reactor Operator Trainees.

Pay will be $15/hr, and a hybrid work schedule may be possible. If you are interested, please fill out the application form below.
