Intersted parties can schedule tours of the MUTR Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM; in certain cases, we may accept tour requests outside of these hours for educational purposes. Tours of the reactor facility are free and by appointment only. You can reqest a tour by filling out our Tour Request Form at least two weeks in advance of the requested date. Groups are limited to 12 people, but in some cases we may be able to accomodate 2 groups simultaneously. We prefer to give tours to groups of at least 5 people. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Tours can last up to 1 hour, or take as little time as you need. As your tour guides are either reactor operators, senior reactor operators, or reactor operator trainees, a variety of information can be presented and tailored to the needs of your group.
