The following are requirements for tours:
– No weapons of ANY kind.
– Tour sizes may be limited; the tour size must be kept to 12 guests per UMD Radiation Facility escort.
– Closed-toed, closed-backed shoes are required at all times to enter the building. No sandals, flip flops, or clogs are permitted.
– No electronic devices, such as, but not limited to: cell phones, cameras, and MP3 players. Pacemakers are safe within the facility.
– No photographs may be taken within the facility.
– No bags, backpacks, purses, or bulky coats.
– Tours may be cancelled at any time without advance notice.
– All persons and possessions are subject to search. 
– Stay within sight of your escort at all times.
– Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
– Do not open any doors in facility.

In the event of an alarm, follow your escorts instructions.

Bring an acceptable form of ID: University ID, state/government issued driver’s licenses, passports, or government clearances.

Forms must be received a minimum of 48 hours before scheduled visit.
